How to use it
A premium 10U softball practice that develops throwing, glove work, hitting rhythm, base running, and simple defensive communication.
- 0–10 min: Dynamic warm-up and partner throws with a target at a safe distance.
- 10–23 min: Glove-work circuit—ground balls, forehand/backhand funnels, and controlled transfers.
- 23–38 min: Hitting stations for tee path, front toss, and situational base running.
- 38–52 min: Defensive calls on fly balls and force-play decisions using live or rolled balls at an appropriate pace.
- 52–58 min: Small situational game with a runner and a defensive objective.
- 58–60 min: Team recap, gear count, and next-practice note.
Setup notes
Use a clear hitting net or screen where appropriate and separate throwing lanes from the batting area. Plan pitcher and catcher work with the local limits in mind.
Coach cues
- Call the ball early.
- Move feet before reaching.
- Give each station one measurable success cue.
