How to use it
A playful movement session for 2nd graders that teaches stopping, starting, balance, and direction changes without turning speed into a race-only lesson.
- 0–5 min: Follow-the-leader locomotion with walking, skipping, side steps, and controlled stops.
- 5–12 min: Cone gates—players accelerate through a gate, decelerate before the line, and return on the outside.
- 12–20 min: Mirror movement in pairs with one leader and one shadow, switching every 20 seconds.
- 20–27 min: Relay choices—players choose a safe route rather than racing into the next group.
- 27–30 min: Breathing, water, and one question about how they stopped safely.
